Jarosław Szczygieł, PhD, MD

Physician – PhD in Medicine, specialist in neurology and medical rehabilitation completed post-graduate studies in medical law (University of Silesia in Katowice) and in management in health care (University of Economics in Katowice). He is the chief doctor of the 1st Department of Neurorehabilitation ``REPTY`` Uppersilesian Rehabilitation Center in Tarnowskie Góry, the member of the Scientific Council of this Hospital, author and co-author of several articles in the field of neurorehabilitation. As the investigator and the co-investigator, participates in clinical trials (since 2009).
Justyna Mazurek, M.D., PhD,

An assistant professor, physician, physiotherapist, teacher and researcher as well at the Department and Division of Medical Rehabilitation of Wroclaw Medical University in Poland and St. Hedwig Hospital in Trzebnica. Member of the Polish Society of Gerontology, the Polish Rehabilitation Society and the Polish Society of Neurorehabilitation. Her work and research focusses around meeting elderly people needs and geriatric rehabilitation.

Researcher and teacher at the Department of Physical Education and Physiotherapy of Opole University of Technology, physiotherapist with 10+ years of experience. Focused on virtual rehabilitation. Author of the first doctoral dissertation in Poland concerning the application of virtual reality in pulmonary rehabilitation. Author of 30+ presentations at scientific conferences, author of 15+ scientific articles.
Katarzyna Turek, PhD
Development of the music therapy layer
Music therapist, musician, master of arts. She works as an adjunct at the Department of Music Therapy of the Music Academy of K. Lipiński in Wrocław and as a music therapy consultant at the Meeting Center for people with dementia and their carers at „Na Ciepłej” MOPS in Wrocław. Author of scientific publications in the field of music therapy in the field of oncology, psychogeriatrics and neurodegenerative diseases. Completed a course of neuromusic therapy led by Sarah Johnson MM MT-BC.

Researcher examining and exploring different aspects of the postural stability in the context of cognitive impairment and various psychological disorders. University employee, mentor to a student research group and associate editor in an international scientific journal. Author of 15+ international scientific publications and many presentations at scientific conferences. Participant of the European project applicability of Virtual Reality in the field of Stroke Rehabilitation Brain4Train.
Agnieszka Pasternak

Certified Gestalt psychotherapist, certified sociologist and development trainer. She acquired her knowledge and skills at the Gestalt Therapy Institute in Krakow, member of EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy). Member of the Polish Society for Gestalt Psychotherapy.
Anna Serweta

Employee of the Department of Neurocognitive Studies at the University of Physical Education in Wroclaw. PhD student at the Medical University related to cognitive rehabilitation using virtual reality. Participation in EEG-fMRI data processing training. Completing an academic and didactic internship in anatomy and neuroscience at the Medical University of Gdańsk. Participation in the international Comparative Global Aging program in cooperation with the University of Nebraska at Omaha (USA).
Aleksandra Kucińska

Since 2000 working at Upper Silesian Rehabilitation Center „REPTY”, 10 years as a Head of the physiotherapists team, first on Neurological Unit, now on Coma Unit.
Since 2011 working also as a Teacher (clinicist) at Academy of Physical Education in Katowice. Certificated Bobath for adults Therapist, PNF Therapist and Kaltenborn-Evjenth Concept of Manual Therapy Therapist. Since 2019 IBITA Recognized Instructor Candidate.
Sandra Jóźwik
RESEARCH
Physiotherapist with extensive experience in working with the patient. Nordic Walking instructor, masseur technician. A graduate of post-graduate studies in Physiotherapy in Pediatrics. A 3rd year PhD student at the University of Physical Education in Wroclaw. Currently working with cardiac patients from the 2nd and 3rd stage of cardiac rehabilitation in outpatient settings.
Katarzyna Broniec-Siekaniec
RESEARCH
Since 2008 she has been working as a psychologist in GCR ``Repty``, dealing with neuropsychological diagnosis and therapy of the patients of the 1st Neurological Rehabilitation Ward, and since 2019 also within the framework of the Medical Rehabilitation Centre. Since 2017, she has also been teaching Psychology. A graduate of psychology at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Silesia. She completed the Course of Psychotherapy organized by the Department of Personality and Neurosis Treatment at the Dr. Babinski Hospital. Currently in the course of specialization in Clinical Psychology.
